The Client
Sarah Stanford is a content designer and copywriter that helps businesses solve their complex content problems. Having decided to rebrand from her old business name (Novelise), Sarah needed a brand identity that felt authentically her and was able to grow with her new self-titled direction. 

The Challenge
While Sarah’s former branding was functional, it didn’t fully represent her fun personality or communicate her expertise or brand positioning. With only a logo and scattered colours (and no established brand system), constant changes and inconsistencies crept in every couple of months with Sarah struggling to know how to work with her brand. 

The Solution
Inspired by her love of mid-century design, a vibrant and playful brand identity was created to stand out from the minimal aesthetic favoured by competitors. Gradient textures and fun retro shapes (created in multiple variations) fostered flexibility which empowered Sarah to be creative and curate the look of specific content she created. A focus on clean and legible typography helped amplify the concept of ‘creating order’ while the supporting graphics provided the required garnish for stand-out content marketing applications.
